Monitoring & Wearable Medical Devices for a Healthier Lifestyle
Healthcare is entering a new era of digital transformation, embracing innovations from smart clinics to AI-assisted surgeries. This revolution enables personalized and highly efficient treatments, with health apps and wearables playing a crucial role in promoting self-care.
Wearable Technology has come a long way from just being fitness trackers to measuring distance walked or jogged, heart rate, and SMS notifications. Advancements in wearable technology has met the demand from consumers to take control of their own health
The advancement of wearable technology and growing demand from consumers to take control of their own health
Wearable smart devices are increasingly present in the health context as key tools for a more digital, personalized, preventative form of healthcare. They can monitor many aspects of your health in real-time, detect possible health issues at an early stage, access detailed health information viewed at the tap of a smartphone, and provide personalized health recommendations.
Our Smartwatches are the most technologically advanced devices to stay safe and connected with vital sign measurements, and reminders while looking smart and sharp.

Benefits Of Healthy Wearable Technology
Wearable devices can improve patient care, track personal health data remotely, and even prevent patient deterioration or health problems before they occur.
Real-time Access to Patient Health Data – In many areas of the country and world, people live in rural areas, often underserved by healthcare services common in more urban locations. Patients also encounter barriers such as distance, travel, and cost. Wearable medical devices make it easier for patients to receive proper care because these technologies provide real-time data tracking remotely.
Improved Medication Compliance – Wearable devices can benefit patients in various ways, such as by regularly sending them notifications about their medications, continuously tracking patient data, and receiving alerts on their mobile devices if their health data exceeds pre-set limits based on their customizable disease management programs. This allows healthcare professionals to more effectively treat changes in their patients’ illnesses by ensuring that medication is taken as prescribed.
Improved Efficiency and Medical Staff Capacity – Wearable medical devices allow doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to monitor patients whether they are in the hospital or at home. With the patients’ vital metabolic data remotely measured in real-time, hospitals can free up beds, doctors can keep an eye on patients’ vitals regardless of location, and efficiency improves as well savings in costly office visits. Wearable medical devices allow doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to monitor patients whether they are in the hospital or at home.
Improved Patient Outcomes – Wearable devices enable patients and their doctors to make more informed health decisions. For instance, connecting Electronic Health Records (EHR) and wearables benefits primary care and chronic care patients. It provides up-to-date and quick access to complete information about patient health and helps medical practitioners reduce medical errors and provide safer care. This helps to identify potential problems early on before they become serious health concerns, which in turn improves patient health outcomes.
Elpis Health Master
Medical Grade Inflatable Cuff Blood Pressure Smart Watch
Accurately detect blood pressure with medical-grade inflatable cuffs
The Elpis Health Master is equipped with micro inflatable air cuffs (similar to traditional blood pressure monitoring devices). As the band inflates, the monitor of the smartwatch senses the pulses of the arteries beneath the band, known as oscillometer pulses. The smartwatch displays the digital reading of your blood pressure on the screen, providing an accurate measurement of blood pressure within a few seconds.
Continuous Heart Monitoring
An electrocardiogram (ECG) refers to a test done to check the heart’s rhythm and electrical activity. ECG machines available at clinics and hospitals come with about 10 to 12 leads which are sensors that attach to one’s skin. With these sensors, the machine can then record the electrical signals produced by the heart accurately.
A wearable ECG device comes in different forms and can be used to record heart activity on the go. This is ideal for users who wish to track their heart health without disrupting their daily activities
On top of being more convenient, the added benefit is that it may be able to identify trends that a one-time ECG machine test may not. However, because of its portability, it usually comes with 1 or 2 leads which may not pick up heart activity as accurately as a hospital-grade ECG.

Chest straps
A chest strap ECG has a portable sensor attached to a strap. This can be worn under the user’s shirt to track the heart rate even while exercising.
How do they work?
Electrode sensors are usually embedded in the chest strap such as when a user wears it, it can detect the heart’s electrical activity. The strap may be made of fabric, plastic or rubber.
The data collected can also be synced to a device like a phone or tablet.
